Wrap-up Story

A gorgeous fall day attracted over 250 vehicles and thousands of spectators to  Charlotte Street – Sydney on October 1st, 2016 to the Cape Breton Classic Cruisers – Fall Classic Show & Shine and Competitive BBQ Cook-off.

Charlotte Street was alive with excitement over the custom and antique vehicles, vendor booths, and was kept hopping with music throughout the day, supplied by local bands and entertainers.

Children were not forgotten and were entertained by clowns, games and face painting.

Locals and tourists alike were treated to some genuine Cape Breton hospitality and talent. Vendors and merchants were surprised by the crowds, activities and festival like atmosphere.

A merchant's committee selected a 1946 MG – TC owned by Barc  Cunningham of Blacketts Lake as the Best in Show.

The BBQ Cook-off  Professional Chef Category was won by Mike Eldershaw of Kiju's while the Home Chef Category was won by Malcolm MacKenzie of Antigonish.

A special Thank You goes out to all club members, sponsors, donors, supporters, participants and spectators for their support in making this event a huge success.

Plans are already underway to make next year even better.
